The Manollasini Contemporary Arts Wing presents contemporary vocal arts, instrumental music, jazz, fusion, and cross-cultural artistic collaboration through concerts, creative productions, and community performance experiences in New Jersey.
Through its signature program, CELESTE, the Wing creates meaningful stages where vocalists, instrumentalists, ensembles, emerging performers, accomplished artists, and audiences can connect through music that moves across traditions, cultures, and generations.

Contemporary music creates opportunities for artists and audiences to encounter new sounds, exchange ideas, and discover connections across cultures. The Contemporary Arts Wing brings these possibilities to life through performances that unite vocal artistry, instrumental music, jazz, fusion, improvisation, and collaborative expression.
As part of Manollasini’s cultural ecosystem, the Wing advances artistic exploration, cross-cultural exchange, creative collaboration, inclusive participation, and meaningful community connection.

CELESTE
Music Without Boundaries
CELESTE is the signature contemporary arts program of the Manollasini Contemporary Arts Wing. It celebrates contemporary artistry while creating meaningful connections among musical traditions, cultures, artists, and communities.
Through curated performances and artistic partnerships, CELESTE creates a shared stage for discovery, collaboration, cultural exchange, and the universal language of music.
PROGRAM IMPACT TO DATE
A New Stage for Contemporary Expression
The inaugural CELESTE program, presented on July 25, 2026, at the George H. Bauer Center in Millburn, New Jersey, brought together emerging performers, independent artists, a partner music academy, contemporary vocalists, jazz musicians, families, and community audiences.

A Place to Create, Perform, and Belong
Manollasini believes that contemporary music and creative expression should be open to artists, learners, families, and audiences of different ages, backgrounds, musical traditions, and abilities.
The Contemporary Arts Wing intentionally creates opportunities for students with special needs to participate in music, performance, and cultural experiences. Through welcoming partnerships, thoughtful program design, and a spirit of inclusion, we work to ensure that every participant has a meaningful place within the creative community.
