Support Artists & Participants
Help artists, students, Gurus, ensembles, and participating families move through each event with clear information and thoughtful coordination.

Volunteer roles vary by program, venue, schedule, and production requirements.
Event setup & backstage support
Help prepare performance areas, backstage spaces, signage, materials, and event supplies before and during a program.
Registration and
check-in desk
Welcome participants and guests, verify registration information, distribute materials, and help maintain an organized arrival process.
Food and Hospitality Team
Support refreshments, artist hospitality, volunteer meals, and Annapoorna Seva when food service is included in a program.
Guest Relations
Welcome audiences, answer basic event questions, assist with seating and directions, and help create a positive visitor experience.
Marketing, social media & promotions
Assist with community outreach, event promotion, social-media coordination, distribution of approved materials, and audience engagement.
Technical & Sound Support
Assist qualified production leads with sound equipment, microphones, cables, stage technology, and other event-specific technical needs.
Venue Care &
Clean-up Team
Support signage, parking guidance, movement of supplies, space readiness, event transitions, and post-event venue care.
Photography & Creative Media Team
Support event photography, videography, approved content capture, media organization, and creative documentation.
Artist Coordination
Assist with participant communication, performance order, arrival times, backstage transitions, and event-specific artist needs.
Role note:
Not every role is available at every event. Assignments are based on program needs, volunteer experience, availability, age requirements, venue rules, and supervision capacity.

No performing-arts background is required for most volunteer roles.
Youth Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities for individuals under 18 depend on the event, assigned role, supervision availability, and venue requirements.

Parent or guardian consent may be required. Some responsibilities may be limited to adult volunteers.
FLEXIBLE WAYS TO SERVE
Choose a Commitment That Works
Choose from event-based, occasional, or ongoing volunteer opportunities based on your interests and availability.
Event-Based
Help at one concert, festival, showcase, or community arts experience.

Typical assignments may include preparation before the event, support during the program, or post-event assistance.
Occasional Support
Volunteer at selected programs during the year as your interests and availability permit.
Ongoing Support
Contribute regularly to areas such as outreach, media, event planning, volunteer coordination, sponsorship support, administration, or production logistics.
Commitment note:
The time required varies by assignment. Dates, hours, location, responsibilities, and preparation requirements will be provided before an event-specific commitment is confirmed.

Volunteers selected for a particular event receive information about the assignment, schedule, venue, orientation, and next steps.

Expressing volunteer interest does not guarantee placement or assignment. Opportunities depend on program needs, volunteer suitability, available roles, scheduling, supervision, and venue requirements.
