Manollasini Sangeetha Kala Utsav is a curated Indian classical arts program developed by Manollasini in partnership with members of its Advisory Board.
The Utsav brings together vocal, instrumental, percussion, and dance presentations by partner schools, independent artists, and invited collaborators within a thoughtfully shaped festival experience.
Its Grand Finale has featured internationally acclaimed artists, connecting community participation with artistry of international distinction.
Presented by Manollasini Inc., a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing-arts organization.

Curated by Manollasini in partnership with members of its Advisory Board, the Utsav creates a shared stage for partner schools, Gurus, independent artists, invited collaborators, and performers at different stages of their artistic journeys.

Advisory Board members contribute artistic perspective, experience, and guidance that help shape the festival’s collaborations and overall presentation.

The Utsav culminates in a specially curated Grand Finale. Its inaugural presentation featured internationally acclaimed artists, connecting community performers and audiences with artistry of international distinction.

Sangeetha Kala Utsav brings together community artists, accomplished senior students, partner schools, and internationally recognized performers within one thoughtfully curated classical-arts experience.
Partner-School Presentations
Students and ensembles representing partner schools present vocal music, instrumental music, percussion, and classical dance under the guidance of their Gurus.
Community Talent Showcase
Independent vocalists, instrumentalists, percussionists, and dancers are invited to share their artistry through a dedicated community showcase.
Senior Student Presentations
Senior students who have completed significant artistic milestones, including an arangetram, are offered opportunities to present more developed repertoire and performance experience.
Internationally Acclaimed Grand Finale
The Utsav culminates in a distinguished Grand Finale featuring internationally acclaimed artists and bringing the festival’s artistic journey to a memorable close.

Participation, performance duration, repertoire, program order, and placement are determined according to the artistic vision and requirements of each edition. Inclusion in one edition does not guarantee participation or the same placement in a future Utsav.

Classical Vocal Music
Carnatic, Hindustani, devotional, and other Indian classical vocal traditions may be presented through solo, group, and collaborative performances.
Instrumental Music
Melodic instruments such as the veena, violin, flute, and other Indian classical instruments bring distinct tonal traditions and repertoire to the festival stage.
Percussion & Rhythm
Mridangam, tabla, and other percussion traditions highlight the depth of Indian rhythmic expression through accompaniment, ensemble work, and featured presentations.

Indian classical dance forms communicate music, rhythm, movement, expression, and storytelling through solo and group presentations.

The Sangeetha Mahotsav Grand Finale varies by festival edition and may feature a Manollasini production, invited artists, collaborative ensembles, or other specially curated presentations.

A Grand Finale of Artistic Distinction
The Grand Finale is the culminating presentation of Sangeetha Kala Utsav—a carefully curated experience that connects the festival’s community-centered stages with accomplished artistry of international distinction.
The 2026 Grand Finale featured an internationally acclaimed artistic team led by Vidwan K. N. Shashikiran, renowned Carnatic vocalist and member of Manollasini’s Advisory Board.
The presentation reflected the Utsav’s distinctive curatorial approach: bringing artistic guidance, accomplished performers, collaboration, and community audiences together within one shared classical-arts experience.
