“राजस्थान री धरती, सुर-ताल अर रंगां सूं सजी।”
“The land of Rajasthan is adorned with melody, rhythm, and vibrant colors.”
— An original tribute to Rajasthan's artistic heritage
Manollasini's Rajasthani Cultural Chapter brings together artists, families, and cultural enthusiasts to celebrate Rajasthan's rich traditions of music, dance, folk performance, and artistic expression.
Rooted in Rajasthan's vibrant cultural heritage, from the graceful movements of Ghoomar and the captivating performances of Kalbelia to the soulful melodies of Manganiyar and Langa musicians, traditional instruments such as the Kamaicha, Ravanhatta, and Khartal, and contemporary Rajasthani music and dance, the Chapter seeks to foster artistic participation, cultural exchange, and connections across generations within New Jersey's diverse communities.
As this new Chapter takes shape, we welcome singers, dancers, musicians, students, Gurus, cultural organizations, and community enthusiasts to help build a vibrant community dedicated to preserving and sharing Rajasthan's performing arts.

OUR CULTURAL VISION

Honoring Heritage. Inspiring New Expressions.
The Rajasthani Cultural Chapter envisions a vibrant community where Rajasthan's rich folk music traditions, expressive dance forms, traditional instruments, and contemporary performing arts come together to celebrate cultural identity and artistic expression.
Through Manollasini's six Signature Programs, we hope to create opportunities for Ghoomar, Kalbelia, Manganiyar and Langa folk music, traditional instruments such as Kamaicha, Ravanhatta, Dholak, and Khartal, and contemporary Rajasthani music and dance that connect artists and audiences across generations.
As our community grows, we look forward to exploring cultural showcases, artistic collaborations, and meaningful participation in Manollasini's Signature Programs, while encouraging younger generations to discover, appreciate, and carry forward Rajasthan's vibrant performing arts traditions.
